Back in 1989, Nintendo brought its adventure game dubbed Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind. The title was a successor to the original game in the series. The title was designed and launched specifically for the Japanese market. There was no support for the English language and that remains the case till now. Well, that is now going to change.
The developers are now bringing the English version of the title to the Switch console. It’s surprising to see such development considering the game is more than 30 years old.
Famicom Detective Club English version to launch on Switch next month!
Nintendo has now announced that it will bring its Famicom Detective Club (English Version) to the Switch console. The title will hit the western market next month i.e. on May 14, to be precise. From this day onward, interested gamers will be able to purchase the title on Switch eShop.
Since the initial launch, the game has enjoyed some solid fame in Japan. In fact, Nintendo was planning to bring Ayumi ( the main character) to Smash Bros. The company, later, decided to drop it as the character was too unknown for the western market.
Apart from just announcing the title, Nintendo has also revealed the official trailer that showcases beautiful graphics. The new English version of the game looks and sounds pretty interesting. We’re quite excited about it. For those who’re as well, you can go ahead and pre-order it on the NA eShop and EU eShop.
