We already know that Nintendo keeps on adding more gaming titles to its handheld console to create a wide range of catalog. It seems like the next addition is going to be from the 2K Games video developing company. As a part of the surprise Nintendo Direct Mini, it is finally confirmed that a bunch of 2K Games will head towards the Switch console.
The full list of 2K games consists of the three popular game franchises namely Borderlands, BioShock and XCOM. We’re looking at the three collections namely XCOM 2 collection, Borderlands Legendary Collection, and BioShock Remastered Collection.
Borderlands, BioShock, XCOM 2 Collections Coming to Nintendo Switch
The Borderlands Legendary collection consists of the titles – Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The BioShock Remastered collection has three games as well namely BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. Like the other two collections, the XCOM 2 includes XCOM 2, 4 DLC packs and the War of the Chosen expansion.
All these gaming titles will head over to the handheld console on May 29 which is still a couple of months away. Nintendo has also noted that the release date can also get delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Sadly, the company has not revealed the official pricing for these collections. Speaking of buying, players will also be able to buy the BioShock titles individually.
Talking about the physical version, the BioShock collection will arrive on a 16GB cartridge. This will contain the opening acts of the three games. With that said, the rest of the things will need to be downloaded. There is no information on the size of the downloads as well.XCOM 2, on the other hand, will be on an 8GB cartridge with first two missions. The downloads here will be up to 24GB. Finally, the Borderlands collection will see an additional download of 41.6GB.
