The Elder Scrolls: Blades Might Finally Launch on Nintendo Switch This Spring

The Elder Scrolls is one of the popular free-to-play action role-playing game series available on the Android, iOS and of course, Nintendo Switch. Developed by Bethesda, the series latest addition is The Elder Scrolls: Blades game. In the latest Nintendo Direct Mini, Bethesda again announced the possible launch of the game to the Nintendo Switch console.

This is not the first time that the company is announcing the game for the handheld console. In fact, it announced the title for Switch at E3 last year. It then got delayed until early 2020. After no official announcement, the company has now briefly highlighted the game at the end of its presentation.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Coming to Nintendo Switch

As per the latest development, The Elder Scrolls: Blades will be arriving in the console coming spring and will be available via eShop. Coming to the delay, the company announced that it was due to the changes the development team was making to make it more compatible with the Switch. Even currently, Bethesda is working on the game to bring a better and more polished version to the players.

Sadly, there is still no solid release date so we would have to wait for more confirmations down the road. Moving on, the Switch version of the game will come with numerous features such as motion controls, cross-platform PvP matches and most importantly cross-progression. For those who’re unaware, the cross-progression will allow the player to continue the session on both Switch and Mobile. Lastly, the game will require a stable online connection to store the progress on the cloud.

That’s all the information on the game at the time of writing this. With that said, do let us know whether you are excited for the game in the comments down below.
