Call of Duty Mobile recently revealed that it will bring its iconic and fan-favourite ‘Rust’ map to its mobile battle royale game. If you’re unaware, the Rust map is one of the popular maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game. Sadly, the developers didn’t reveal any information regarding the timeline.
Well, that changes now since Activision has now revealed the timeline for the map update. As per the patch note on Reddit community, the much-anticipated Rust map will make its way to the mobile battle royale game in the next update. For those who’re unaware, May 1 is already scheduled for a major update.
Call of Duty: Mobile Update on May 1 Brings New Map, New Games Mode
Talking about Rust, it is a very small map set in an oil drilling field in the desert. Right in the middle, there is a central tower which player can use as a vintage point. Using the tower, player can see factory sites that contain shipping containers, fuel pipes and various other industrial objects. Overall, the Rust map offers a whole new experience to the player
Apart from the Rust map, Call of Duty: Mobile will also see some new game modes coming to the roster. We’re looking at Kill Confirmed, Capture the Flag and 1v1. Since the game is also witnessing a massive Mobile World Championship, we might also see some similarly-themed cosmetics. With the entrance of the new modes, Gun Game Team Fight and Rapid Fire Modes will see the exit door.
