Nintendo Switch: “Games I Want Ported To” Hashtag Goes Viral

Since the inception of Switch consoles, Nintendo has added a plethora of new titles and ports every year. We now have a massive library of games that keeps on growing. Recently, the Japanese fanbase went on Twitter and started recommended games that they would like to see on a handheld console. With that, the hashtag “Games I Want Ported to Nintendo Switch” went viral. Soon after, Switch users from other regions joined in as well.

All these tweets did highlight some popular and classic games that can be ported on Nintendo Switch in future. We’re looking at titles such as Metroid Fusion, Xenoblade Chronicles X, F-Zero GX, Super Mario Sunshine and Star Fox Assault. We even saw fans requesting titles such as Phantasy Sar Online, Baten Kaitos, Skies of Arcadia Legends and Armored Core. The Twitter users from other countries requested titles such as Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario 64, Golden Sun and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

The hashtag is currently so trending that some users are still posting more tweets requesting for more ports. In some teets, Switch users started tagging their respective Nintendo region account to request ports. In one tweet, we saw a user requesting Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, F. Fantasy VII and more. With all these tweets, it is pretty clear that Switch users have numerous titles and ports that they want to see on the console. It would be interesting to see how the company reacts to the same as well.
