Whale Trail Classic Now Available For Half The Price On Play Store

Whale Trail Classic is an old creation of Monument Valley developer Ustwo. The game was released back in 2011, and it cost £150,000 to develop and went through months of design work. The original price is $3.99, but now it is available for $1.99 on the Google Play Store.

Your goal in Whale Trail Classic is simple. It is an endless runner game, in which Willow the Whale flies through the sky, trying to get away from Baron von Barry, the squid-like antagonist.  We have to collect bubbles to allow Willow to keep flying while avoiding clouds. One of the popular features of the game is the soundtrack by Gruff Rhys of ‘The Super Furry Animals’. The soundtrack is so relaxing, damn!

It is easy to play the game, it has simple and intuitive one-touch gameplay. Just holding your finger down on the screen to make the whale fly. Releasing your finger while result in Willow diving downwards, while press and hold will make Willow perform a loop the loop, useful when collecting hard to reach Blubbles There are  2 game modes including Classic and Challenge modes, also the game has 64 levels in challenge packs, making the gameplay longer.

To spice up the gameplay, there are various things such as super-speed launch with Hyper-Boost power-ups,  Cloud Mine power-up to smash clouds, and Blubble Magnet power-up to suck up bubbles. And if you are still not excited, well you can also compete against friends with Scoreloop and try try again until you get all 64 achievements. Whale Trail Classic is a kind of flappy bird, but with many features like the soundtracks, multiple achievements to unlock, and more.
