Nintendo Switch Has a Lot of Great Potential, We Can Get More Out of It: Says Witcher 3 Port Specialists

Since its inception, Nintendo Switch has managed to offer a wide range of games in its library covering almost every other genre. That’s not it! the developers are working hard to bring more titles to the hybrid console. Till now, one of the most impressive releases on the Switch console has to be the Witcher 3 port. When we heard about this port back in February 2019, there were a lot of speculations that it will not be able to run on the hybrid console. Even if it managed to do, the devs would have to strip down a lot of features and graphics just to make this game runnable.

Well, that obviously didn’t happen. Soon after, Saber Interactive launched its Witcher 3 port and it becomes one of the key highlights of the Nintendo Switch. The fact that the game itself looked immensely beautiful initially was some solid achievement for Saber. Since then, the developers have rolled out numerous updates in order to make the experience much better. The overall performance is now enhanced and there are tons of graphical options.

Nintendo Switch Got More Potential, Some Impressive Titles Coming from Sabre

After the success of Witcher 3, Saber Interactive is now working on a part of World War Z for Nintendo Switch consoles. Saber’s CEO and founder Matthew Karch recently revealed some worthy details in an interview with Wccftech. Karch specifically mentioned that porting World War Z would be more challenging than the Witcher 3. Furthermore, he also mentioned that the company is indeed a big fan of Nintendo Switch. Sabre believes that Switch hybrid handheld console has a lot more potential in it. Lastly, he added that the developers can definitely get more out of the hardware.

With that said, it seems like Sabre has some impressive titles in its pipeline that will surprise the Switch fans a lot. Considering the interview, it seems like we haven’t seen the most impressive game from the publisher as of now. If that’s the case, then we should hear some more information in the coming months. Since we’re talking about Switch, it is worth mentioning that The Escapist is hosting Indie Showcase on June 11.
