Free Fire announces an event featuring Netflix’s show “Money Heist / La Casa de Papel”

Garena and Netflix are joining forces in a new event that is coming to Free Fire, one of the world’s most popular battle-royale games for mobile. The new event will be dubbed the “Bermuda Plan” and will put players in a new mode, with new skins and exclusive equipment. The new event will start in September and will fulfill the dream of many players who since the launch of the “Top Criminal” asking in 2018 have been long waiting for a collaboration between the two franchises.

“Creating memorable experiences for the Free Fire community is essential, and there are few better ways to do this than joining one of Netflix’s most popular series, Money Heist,” said Garena producer Harold Teo. “Many of us at Garena are fans of the series, as are millions of players around the world. We are very pleased to be able to deliver this collaboration to our community. We hope they enjoy it as much as we did together. “

Apparently, part of the Bermuda Plan will be introduced as the new 4 vs 4 playing mode. In the new mode dubbed Money Heist, players race against the opposing team to collect maximum dollar bills before time runs out. Players will need to activate printers in the game. These Money Printers will be located at locations defined on the map. Players will activate the Cash printer by occupying and defending the surrounding area. The Printed notes can be collected by the defending team. The first team to achieve the biggest amount in the allotted time wins the match.

Of course, Garena will put several “La Casa de Papel / Money Heist” themes throughout the game. That includes, of course, skins with masks from the series and the legendary red robe.

We’ll have more news in September when the new event will start.
