According to a leaked job offer, Activision is looking for an executive producer to deliver part of the Call of Duty Warzone experience to smartphones. Unfortunately, the job offer isn’t available anymore, but folks at Twitter managed to take a couple of screenshots.
One of the paragraphs certainly draws our attention:
“Improve upon the Warzone formula by proposing and producing mobile-specific additions and changes to features to ensure a best-in-class mobile experience that players will love.” Another one says: “Serve as the primary point of contact on Warzone Mobile leadership team for clarity and decisions on user-facing features, UX and overall quality.”
Could be this job offer related to the release of a brand new mobile game or is it about the arrival of new content for the Call of Duty Mobile? According to recent rumors, Activision has ceased partnership with Tencent in COD Mobile’s development. If this information is accurate, then it makes perfect sense for the company to look for experienced leaderships to keep the game’s success in mobile smartphones and bring Call of Duty Warzone experience to the popular title.
In any case, we’ll probably hear more about this story in the coming days. COD Mobile is one of the most appealing games for Android and iOS. It’s a close rival to popular titles like PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Free Fire. Some prefer Activision’s FPS title since it does not have deep roots in the battle royale formula.
