MiHoYo has just updated Genshin Impact, one of the most iconic RPG games available for mobile smartphones. The brand new update for Android introduces playing mode at 60 frames per second. If you’re unaware, this option was disabled on Android when the game was released. Some users were swearing that the game was playing at 60 fps due to the smooth experience. However, that’s not the case. The game came with carved 30 fps and in some scenes, it reached the low 26 fps amount.
Unfortunately, the update is not available for everyone. As Genshin Impact isn’t a lightweight game, this update will only be active on the latest high-end models with Snapdragon 845 SoC and similar chipsets. We believe that this update will roll out gradually for other supported smartphones. After all, there are some mid-range chipsets that can run demanding games without any problem. The Poco X3 for example has the Snapdragon 732G and holds the game at 60 frames per second. Genshin Impact brings gorgeous graphics, animations, effects, and a huge world. Hence, it certainly draws a lot from your smartphone’s hardware. This is a server-side update, so you will not need to search for the updated app on Google Play Store.
Interestingly enough, this frame rate is available since the launch on iPhones.
