Minecraft Dungeons is one of the popular games on the Nintendo Switch handheld console. In fact, the title managed to overtake Animal Crossing: New Horizons to become the best selling game on Switch eShop for a while. One of the reasons why the game is so popular has to be the constant updates that the dev team keeps on rolling. Just like with most games, we have already seen numerous DLC packs and it looks like the new one is also incoming.
Minecraft Dungeons: cross-play support and new DLC incoming
It makes sense considering the publisher was supposed to reveal something big related to the update this month. Well, that date has now arrived. Mojang Studios has now announced a new Howling Peaks DLC along with a Season Pass that will arrive in the month of December. As expected, this is a paid DLC pack that brings a new boss called The Tempest Golem. Furthermore, Apocalypse Plus will add new difficulty options to the gameplay experience. Apart from all these paid stuff, Mojang will also roll out a free update in November.
This free update will bring one of the most awaited features namely Cross-Play. With the cross-play feature, the entire multiplayer gameplay experience will increase tenfold. Thanks to the cross-play, players will soon be able to enjoy the title with other consoles or platforms. Speaking of Minecraft, few reps of the classic game is making their way to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. We’re looking at Alex, Steve, Zombie, and Enderman. You can find more about it from our other report.
