Monster Hunter Rise will reach Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021. For those unaware, it’s a sequel to the Monster Hunter Stories (3DS) spin-off. Moreover, the studio is also preparing Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin for the Switch. This game will reach the hybrid-platform later in 2021.
Monster Hunter is an iconic franchise but reached the peak of its popularity with the release of the AAA game for PS4, Xbox, and PC. The game has a massive amount of players and recently received a big expansion dubbed Iceborne. So far, Nintendo Switch owners have been claiming for the game to arrive in the platform. Due to the hardware limitations, it seems that Capcom couldn’t find a way to port Monster Hunter to the Nintendo Switch. Instead, it will bring an exclusive experience that adapts to the platform.
Of course, you’ll find the whole RPG mechanics and monster hunting features in this game. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, in counterpart, should bring a deeper single-player experience.
