Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament 2021 details revealed by Nintendo

This year we saw Nintendo bringing weekly events to its popular Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game. Well, it looks like the same weekly events will continue to exist in the year 2021. In a recent tweet, Smash Bros. has revealed a special star-themed tournament that will kickstart on January 1st, 2021.

As you can see in the tweet, there’ll be only star items available at the event. We’re talking about Super Star from Mario and the Star Rod from the Kirby Series. According to the post, the event will run for three days.

With the developers kicking off the event on the first day of the new year, it looks like we will see more such events throughout the new year. To recall, the devs recently rolled out a new patch 10.1.0 update to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version. The update brought the Sephiroth as the DLC fighter. Furthermore, we saw a dozen of new spirits in the Shop option of the game.
