Rocket League Sideswipe officially announced: soccer with cars!

Rocket League is a very popular game. The reason behind the popularity of this game is its uniqueness. Have you ever imagined a game where you will be playing soccer with cars? Well, this is what Rocket League is all about. So many people wanted this game to come on mobile devices. As with every game, the rumors about this game came too when the developers of the game Psyonix published a job ad for QA tester last year.  But the rumors finally came out true. The game is officially announced for smartphones. It will be called Rocket League Sideswipe and will be available worldwide later this year.

The studio has revealed about the game that consists of 1v1 ad 2v2 online matches. And the duration of the game will be 2 minutes. Like on the PC and Consoles, the gameplay for Mobile devices will also be kept user-friendly and easy to control. Advanced mechanics will be used so if there is a new player in the game it will be easy for them to understand the controls.  What makes this game more interesting is the customization. Customization of your car is also added in the mobile version. The system of the game works according to online ranking so you will get your level of payers as you get in all other online games.

Coming later this year

If you live in Australia or New Zealand, the game will be available for you shortly however it will be in the alpha form so bugs and glitches are expected. Talking about the worldwide release, it will take some time. You can expect it to release sometime later this year. It will be a free-to-play game on Android & iOS. For now, the Play Store page is not live yet, we will update you whenever there is an update.
