After the undeniable success of Dragon Quest Tact, we hadn’t any doubt that Square-Enix would keep exploring its popular franchise in the mobile segment. Now, the company has chosen Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds as its new contender in the mobile segment. Interestingly, A Hero’s Bonds is just one among a set of games based on Dai’s adventures coming. The game is slated to reach Android and iOS sometime this year, but a closed beta testing will start on April 7 allowing players to have a sneak peek of the game.
Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds beta testing will start in a couple of days
The closed beta testing for Android will be running from April 7 through April 15. Players in Australia, Canada, England, France, Japan, New Zealand, and Singapore will be able to play the game. That version supports both English and Japanese translations. This hints at a simultaneous launch in Japan and overseas. Players will be able to experiment with some of the content of this team-based RPG. Android users can pre-register right now.
The debut trailer for Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds shows some of the combat in action. It consists in a band of heroes running along a path to take on swarms of traditional Dragon Quest enemies. We can also have a pretty good look at character customization with customers and equipment.
