Nintendo Switch gets a new system update 12.0.1, improves performance!

Earlier this month, Nintendo rolled out the version 12.0.0 update to its Switch consoles. While we were expected some major additions, the update ended up being a small one fixing some annoying bugs. Well, Nintendo Switch is now receiving an incremental update that bumps up the version to 12.0.1.

Hold your horses, as this new update also brings some system stability improvements. Here’s the complete changelog of the new update.

The aim behind this new system update is to improve the overall user experience of the Switch handheld consoles. The changelog doesn’t really mention a lot of details. It only mentions ‘General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience’.

While the changelog might be small, the hidden improvements are a few more. According to a data miner OatmealDome, Nintendo has updated few OS components. We’re talking about the Bluetooth, BSD Sockets, and Swear worlds list. For those who’re unaware, BSD Sockets helps to create connections over the internet.

Apart from these, there are no major additions and improvements to the Nintendo Switch consoles. We’re still waiting for major additions such ass folders, themes, and various other exciting features.
