Hot Wheels Infinite Loop will be closed on January 2022

Another excellent game bids farewell to mobile gamers. Hot Wheels Infinite Loop will be completely disabled on January 31, 2022. The information came straight from Creative Mobile Games, the game’s producer.

Hot Wheels Infinite Loop was released in May 2019. The racing game has gained a good fan base due to its excellent graphics and addictive arcade gameplay. As this is a game with a single online mode, turning off the servers means the game’s death. Currently, Hot Wheels Infinite Loop (HWIL) already has connection and performance issues.

The game crashes when it loses connection to the servers and there are times when the menu screens freeze. This has nothing to do with the performance of the smartphone, but with the game’s engine, which requires a constant connection to the internet.

Creative Mobile Games has set the following guidelines for the game’s ending:

The game will continue to be playable until January 31, 2022.

  • November 1, 2021 – We’ve disabled in-game purchases.
  • December 13, 2021 – The game will be removed from the App Store and Play Store, and it will be impossible to create a new account.
  • January 31, 2022 – We are shutting down the game servers. After that, it will be impossible to play HWIL anymore.

This is a sad ending for those who have been playing Infinite Loop for a long time, especially for players that have spent real money on it. The hopes now are on a possible arrival of Hot Wheels Unleashed for mobile devices.
