Vikingard: A Strategic / Simulation game with “romantic relationships”

NetEase Games and Clicktouch Technology have jointly released the Vikingard game on Google Play and the App Store. The game claims to be an RPG, but it’s more of a strategy and simulation game in which you need to create your own “Viking Village”. However, what stands out is the “dating simulator” in the game.

Of course, the game is full of cliches, many of which are unrealistic, but who cares, right? The really interesting part is the beautiful art and the simple and relaxing gameplay. The graphics are in 2D with an appeal to the male audience; The game features several girls, and the primary objective seems to be to have love encounters with all of them. Interestingly, the game has the same encounters, it doesn’t matter if you choose your character as male or female. However, it may be that new heroes and romantic encounters with male characters can be unlocked in the future.

“Vikingard’s story puts the player in the role of heir to the Fharun Tribe in ancient Scandinavia. The player must gather brave warriors to explore the world, gather lost treasures, crush their enemies and become a mighty ruler. Vikingard is all about letting the player tell their own Viking story, whether it’s victory on the battlefield, exploring strange new lands, or the foundation of a family line that lasts for generations.”

Worth noting, that Vikingard is a quite lightweight game and will run in the big majority of smartphones. Since the game is free, it requires an internet connection.
