Fortnite to get a first-person perspective mode

Battle royale games are fun yet the players can get bored after some time. To spice things up, developers tend to update their games with new modes. Similarly, Epic Games is allegedly working on a new mode for their popular battle royale Fortnite. The new mode will bring a first-person perspective to the game. Since Fortnite is popular for its third-person perspective, it will be fun to see how the developed implement this new mode. Below is everything we know about the upcoming Fortnite’s FPP mode.

First-person perspective is coming back to Fortnite

The news comes from HYPEX, a reputable Fortnite leaker. According to them, the first-person mode for Fortnite is on the way. Currently, the new mode is being worked on and we may see it soon. For those unfamiliar, Fortnite was once a PvE (Player Vs Environment) game that was in first-person perspective. Later, the battle royale mode was included in the game and it turned out to be a hit. The old FPP mode was put to dust, and was only played for getting V-Bucks.

Fortnite FPP

Now, if we imagine a first-person mode for current Fortnite, it may not seem like a good choice. Firstly, the cosmetics which mostly are skins will be hidden. And secondly, the game’s building meta will be completely destroyed. Hence, this may not be a good choice for Fortnite. However, Fortnite can still implement FPP with Zero Build modes and keep it unlinked with the main mode.

That being said, time will tell how FPP comes back to Fortnite. Hopefully, Epic Games won’t take a huge risk by prioritizing the FPP to Fortnite.  Do you think Fortnite’s FPP mode will be a good addition? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to stick around for more gaming updates.
