HOOK 2 is a relaxing puzzle game with 80 levels

Smartphones are becoming powerful, resulting in feature-rich games. Even though new games are fun but there is still a need for simple games that one can play anywhere. Something that has no distractions and modern features but just the game itself. This is where HOOK comes in, it is a classic puzzle game released in 2015. It has around 500K downloads and a rating of 4.6 stars. Now, after years, the developer has announced the sequel to HOOK named HOOK 2. The sequel aims to keep the DNA from the original game with more levels and some polishing.

HOOK 2

What makes HOOK unique is the minimalist aesthetic puzzle experience. It features relaxing music and visuals that make the players stick to the game for longer. However, it doesn’t mean that the game is piece of cake. There are 80 different puzzles at the time of release. More puzzles will come with time.

HOOK 2 cuts down the distractions

As you progress in the game, the puzzle gets difficult. On the core, it may seem; all you need to do is remove hooks from the board. There are various game mechanics that you can use to complete the puzzle. The game cuts time limits, so you have ample time to think about the puzzle and finally solve it. It also lacks a leaderboard and keeps the game to the point. In my opinion, this is what makes this game stand out. At some point, modern puzzle games may seem overwhelming because they offer so many features.

If you’re looking for a to-the-point yet fun puzzle game, then HOOK 2 might be your choice. It will be released on June 29th as a premium title with no ads. The app can be pre-ordered on Apple’s App Store, but Android’s release date has not been revealed. That being said, stay tuned for more gaming updates.
