F1 22 will offer a rich experience with Dualsense

To recreate the sensations of speed and transport players inside the circuits, Electronic Arts will make the most of the DualSense features in F1 22. According to the publisher, the title will take advantage of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to optimize immersion. It will result in an “authentic experience” of gameplay.

Heralded as the new era of Formula 1, the game will utilize control to maximize the perception of collisions and surfaces. Vehicles in wreckage will provide challenging driving conditions. Players will feel the wheels, for example, and the feedback will represent the status on every part of the track, especially during curb contact and risk zones.

In racing, information from engineers and the team will be of utmost importance. So that players don’t miss the advice and general assessments of competitions, the DualSense will emit sounds through its speaker system and simulate all the emotions of professional riding.

Meanwhile, adaptive triggers will be directly linked to tire resistance. In F1 22, the cars will “talk” to the athletes and allow the anticipation of pit stop actions. Slippery tires, damaged wheels, acceleration intensity and other actions will impact the amount of pressure needed to be applied to the buttons.

F1 22 will be released on July 1st for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
