The reason Cyberpunk 2077 came with numerous bugs in its release may have been revealed. According to a Forbes article, where a video posted by “Upper Echelon Gamers” was highlighted, CDPR’s outsourced Quality Assurance team was inexperienced with the task.
According to the sources, Quantic Lab, the company hired by the studio to test the title and report the main errors, did not fulfill its promise. In addition to lying about the number of employees available to take care of the game, a team with less than six months of experience was responsible for the RPG.
Obviously, a range of errors and bugs were reported, but the report delivered to CDPR didn’t cover the most serious glitches capable of “breaking” the game. The 72-page document shown in the video above makes it clear that the owner of Cyberpunk 2077 was expecting senior-level programmers to analyze the game.
Before “blaming the interns”, it is worth remembering: that CDPR did not officially disclose anything about this situation. Even though it’s information from a big portal like Forbes, treat the article as speculation. Anyway, it’s an undeniable fact that Cyberpunk 2077 had one of the more catastrophic launches in the recent story. The CD Projekt Red team went from glory with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the Disaster with Cyberpunk 2077. Despite this, the game is recording record-high sales and was a commercial success. However, the company will need to prove itself in order to regain the player’s confidence.
