“Don’t give me hope.” Hawkeye’s phrase may apply to Bloodborne fans who beg for a PS5 version of the game or a sequel. Although many are discredited, unexpected maintenance of the game’s servers has revived the dream in everyone’s hearts.
The warning appeared in the game menu about unscheduled maintenance. It is curious to note that it will take place on August 31, just the day before the month of September in which a PlayStation Showcase is speculated – an event that brings much news of titles aimed at PS4 and PS5.
Of course, it may all be just a big coincidence, but a fan’s heart always hopes for the best, right?!
Bloodborne is going to undergo maintenance on august 31 2022.

Bloodborne Remake Seems Impossible
Journalist Jason Schreier pointed out that Sony is not producing a remake of Bloodborne for the PS5. He is one of the most credible names in the industry. However, he has not commented on a possible sequel. As FromSoftware’s next game is already in the final stages of development, maybe we won’t see the developer lining up again with the Japanese publisher to continue the franchise. After Elden Ring and Sekiro’s success, we don’t know if FromSoftware will return to the PlayStation-exclusive franchise.
Of course, there are countless rumors about a port for PC now that Sony has opened the floodgates. Unfortunately, no mention to Bloodborne has been ever made, and the game remains locked to the PS4 and to 30 fps.
