Rockfish Games has announced that version 1.0 of Everspace 2 will be released in early 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. At the moment, the title is in early access on Steam. It already features improvements over the first game, such as combat and exploration adjustments.
In an official statement, Michael Schade, CEO of the studio, said that the game will have an “exciting” campaign, with alternative activities and other events. In addition, the Ancient Rifts endgame promises to offer expanded content with procedural areas and new difficulties.
“We can’t wait for the day of Everspace 2 version 1.0 launch. The game offers a unique blend of plasma action gameplay and deep space exploration. It also has loads of activities, and an exciting campaign set in a stunning zero gravity environment.”
More news about the space battle game will be revealed at a later date.
