Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are the latest mainstream Pokemon titles released for the Nintendo Switch. These titles are important as they introduce a fully open-world experience for the first time in the Pokemon franchise. As much as fans were excited about the open-world experience, they got disappointed with the graphics and performance issues. Not long after the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the games got a massive backlash for the problems. The developer addressed the issues and announced fixing the problems soon. Now the latest news is that a new patch has been announced. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Version 1.2.0 will be released next month and will improve the game.
The news of the new Version 1.2.0 update was revealed in a press release in which Pokemon claimed that the update will focus on bug fixes. However, not much was revealed; but the good news is that the update is not far away. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Version 1.2.0 will be out in late February.
GameFreak must have learned a lot with the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. We can hope that future Pokemon games to have fewer performance issues. If the Scarlet and Violet games were optimized properly, there was no stopping the game from breaking milestones. I played Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and absolutely enjoyed it. The game not only brings fresh features to the Pokemon universe but keeps the originality of the game which i personally liked.
Keep improving the game to make room for DLC
Now that the developer is trying to improve the game’s performance with new patch updates, I am hopeful to see a DLC launching soon. We recently wrote about the expected Pokemon games for 2023, and there is a high probability that we will get a Scarlet and Violet DLC rather than a new game.
