The developer Mundfish confirmed that Atomic Heart went to the gold stage, which means the development is completed. Now, the game won’t be subject to delays and will reach consoles and PC on February 21st. This means the cycle of years and years of development is finally done. The game was set to reach the previous generation platforms (PS4, Xbox One) in 2018. However, the game was postponed multiple times, reaching the new generation. Unlike some developers, the studio is not dropping its promise and will still launch the game for older consoles.
“We want to bring you amazing news that Atomic Heart has gone gold! Thank you to our partners and everyone involved in this exciting project! And first of all, thanks to everyone for sticking with us and supporting the game. We can’t wait to see you playing on February 21st!”
Atomic Heart will reach the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. The title is already available for pre-order on the PS Store in three editions. Each one has its own particularity, and of course, the one with more extras has a higher price.
Atomic Heart will have consistent 4K in dungeons
Mundfish has confirmed that Atomic Heart will have extensive support for 4K resolution. According to the developers, the graphics will be offered at their maximum range in a solid way, including native technology in dungeons and dynamics in the open world.
