Horizon: Studio Gobo is the series co-developer

Studio Gobo, which helped produce Hogwarts Legacy and Redfall, has become a co-developer of the Horizon franchise, alongside Guerrilla Games. The studio announced the news this Thursday (26) in a post on Twitter.

Guerrilla is working on a multiplayer project based on the Aloy universe. The co-dev did not clarify whether this is the game where its 110 employees will work from now on, however, it has already opened vacancies for more interested parties to join the team:

“We are excited to share that Studio Gobo is now a co-development partner with Guerrilla in the Horizon universe. We are currently filling roles on this and other teams.”

In addition to Redfall and Hogwarts Legacy, the VGC portal highlights that Studio Gobo, which is based in the United Kingdom, has already acted as a kind of development support for Disney Infinity and For Honor. It is important to remember that a supposed remake of Horizon Zero Dawn was being made. Guerrilla has not yet confirmed the existence of this project.

In addition to Horizon multiplayer, “Aloy’s epic solo adventure” is in the works

Guerrilla Games will not let its focus on single-player games aside. According to the company, in addition to Horizon’s multiplayer project, an epic solo adventure for Aloy is on the way. Obviously, a third game for the franchise is expected, after Horizon Forbidden West.
