AutoChess MOBA is shutting down, here’s why its a good move

AutoChess MOBA is a game that I had my eyes on from the start. However, it seems like the game is having a rough start as the developer has announced to shut down the game’s servers next month. In the highly competitive gaming market, the chances of an unoptimized game to survive are low. Hence, the developer needs some time to change things for good, and then the game will return.

AutoChess MOBA is shutting down, here's why its a good move

From January 30 onwards the in-game purchases will be discontinued; restricting players to buy any in-game item and goodies. Furthermore, the game will be removed from all the app stores, and by the end of Feburary, the servers will be shut-down as-well.

This may sound a bit sad specially for the players who loved the idea behind the game. However, the reason given by the developer completely justifies the action. They have made it clear that the game needs polishing. AutoChess MOBA faced a lot of performance issues including glitches and long waiting times. Hence, the developer will be fixing these problems, and at a later stage, the game will return.

AutoChess MOBA: Whats the game about?

As the name suggests, it is a MOBA in which you will be battling by a roaster of different heroes, each having their own unique abilities. There will be a queue for a match, finding four opponents for you. The objective is simple; destroy the enemy’s base. Like many MOBA titles, there are buffs giving you tactical advantage, NPCs giving you level boosts, etc. Players of Wild Rift will find this game pretty similar.

That being said, the return of AutoChess MOBA is not specified yet. Since it will be directly competing with the likes of Wild Rift; We hope that the developer manages to make the gam emuch better.. Make sure to stick around for more mobile and console gaming updates.
