Final Fantasy XVI: News will come in the next months

Many people were disappointed with the lack of a Final Fantasy XVI trailer in last Thursday’s State of Play (23). However, the producer Naoki Yoshida brings some hope to players. According to him, there will be “news soon”. In an interview with Dengeki Online (via Games Radar), he promises more info starting next month.

In the conversation, Yoshi P states that the process of showing more details will start “about three months” before the launch of the game. The game is set to reach the market on June 22. Therefore, we can expect something between the end of March and the beginning of April.

Final Fantasy XVI

It’s worth remembering that Square Enix and PlayStation have even started distributing some Final Fantasy XVI marketing materials at retailers in Japan. In the country, there are some promo items such as boxes, banners, and posters. They were identified by Internet users when they were seen in stores across the country. This marketing is going much sooner than usual right?

Expectations around Final Fantasy XVI are the best possible, according to Naoki Yoshida. According to the producer, the RPG promises to get the most out of the PS5 and will show the real power of the console. The title is already up for pre-order on the PS Store. Right now, the game is a strong exclusive for the Sony console. We don’t if there will be a version for Xbox, after all, Final Fantasy VII Remake did not get one. Right now, the producer does not even confirms a version for PC.

Final Fantasy XVI producer denies PC version: “buy a PS5”

Naoki Yoshida did not guarantee that Final Fantasy XVI will have a PC version. According to him, anyone who wants to venture into the next release of the franchise will have to buy a PS5. So it’s buying a PS5 now, or watching it through YouTube.
