The Warzone 2 community is not happy with the paywall on some items in the game’s new season. In a post on Reddit, several players complain that you have to spend real money to unlock some crosshairs. Fans further claim that Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is a “disappointment compared to 2019’s MW”.
What happens is that in the part of the reticles, there are some options that seem to be released only with CoD Points, while in other titles it was possible to have these items just fulfilling some in-game objectives. Recently, the commit also showed its displeasure with the rumors on Call of Duty 2023. While some fans were happy to see what Sledgehammer Games was preparing, others felt betrayed. After all, the players have been waiting for an entire 2023 fully dedicated to the new game. However, players will need to invest in a new shooter “premium” to follow all the novelties of the franchise.
Warzone 2.0 patch nerfs RPK, Fennec and Sniper see details:
With the debut of Season 2, Infinity Ward and Raven Software have released the first major patch for Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II with a focus on balance. The update, now available for download, includes weapon nerfs, bug fixes, and general tweaks to all systems. However, some of the tweaks are controversial.
In the update, the highlight is due to the changes in weapons. After reading player feedback, the studios decided to nerf the RPK, Fennec, and sniper rifle, with reduced damage and range and increased recoil. Additionally, incendiary ammo will not result in a hit kill. Some players may enjoy these changes, especially newcomers. However, for veteran players, this will bring deep changes to the dynamics of the competitive online game. We are curious to see if there will be more changes or possible patches to revert some changes.
