Nintendo Switch Online is reviving an old gem, get ready for this classic GBA game!

Playing GBA games on Nintendo Switch? That will be a nostalgic ride for sure. Nintendo players got excited last month during the Nintendo Direct where the company announced that Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members will have access to select Game Boy Advance games. The first batch was awesome and included some of the most popular games including The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames!, and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. Now, it’s time for the next game to arrive, it is also a classic GBA game that will surely attract retro gamers.

So which game is it? Well, it’s none other than fan favorite Metroid Fusion. It was revealed earlier today that Metroid Fusion will be hitting the Nintendo Switch Online on March 9.  For some, it was not a major surprise, as it was already announced to come out in the library. But since the Metroid Fusion has a huge fan base, the players must be excited.

What is Metroid Fusion all about?

Metroid Fusion is an action game that came out in 2002. It sees players embarking on a journey as the iconic bounty hunter Samus Aran. You will be exploring the planet SR388 and the main goal is to search for parasitic organisms called X. The 2D action game ticks most of the boxes ensuring good gameplay. It has great matching background music, terrific graphics, and good controls. Hence, this game will be popular even in the Switch Online Expansion pack.

For those wondering about the Metroid Fusion’s future, recently Metroid Prime Remastered was released. While there is also a fourth entry in development for years now. With the hype being created around the franchise, I won’t be surprised if we get more details on the Metroid Prime 4  in the coming months. Make sure to stick around for the latest gaming updates.
