Earlier today, rumors spread across the web hinting at the launch of a demo for Resident Evil 4 Remake. Capcom usually discloses demos for every Resident Evil release, and they often come ahead of the release. As expected, Capcom took at its spotlight streaming event to announce the demo. it gets available a few weeks before the launch of Resident Evil 4 Remake for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The demo carries the title “Chainsaw Demo” and as you can expect will bring a brief part of the game starring the so-called Dr.Salvador the Chainsaw monster.
I’ve already played the demo, and as you can imagine it brings a small part of the game. Unlike other Resident Evil remakes, we can see that this one starts straight from the beginning of the game. Maybe Capcom opted for this route because Resident Evil 4 is still fresh in the mind of players. The demo starts with Leon’s arrival at the village and he soon discovers that something is fishy at the place. The villagers promptly attack him and his escort. Now, he needs to uncover the truth and find a way to escape from the aggressive Ganado.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake demo is already available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC platforms. You can pick your favorite part and enjoy a brief portion of the game that has about 20-30 minutes (or less if you’re a speed runner) of gameplay.
