Pokemon Scarlet and Violet did not get any Eeveelution. It was kind of disappointing as Pokemon did not even release one in the previous generation. Fans expected to see something for Eevee in the ninth generation, but they were left disappointed. However, this is not the end of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. There is a DLC coming up soon, and now leaks suggest that Eevee will be getting some attention. Will it be a new Eeveelution? Well, we have compiled everything which can be possible.
Eevee used to get new evolution after every 2 generations. The second batch of new Eeveelution was in Gen 2, then in Gen 4, and lastly, we got the latest Eeveelution in Gen 6. However, the cycle broke as the developer did not release one in Gen 8 which was Pokemon Sword and Shield. Then, there was nothing given to Eevee in the latest Gen 9 as well.
Eevee may get a special form in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC
There is one interesting thing. Pokemon Sword and Shield give Eevee a Gigantamax form. And now leaker Riddle Khu is claiming that the next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC will spice up the special Tera form with Gigantamax form. So it will turn out to be a mixture of both the special forms. Since Eevee had this Gigantamax form in the older game, we can expect it to get a Special Tera form in the next DLC. It will be cool to see how it works out.
On the other hand, it may still be disappointing for some players. Tera Form and Gigantamax Form are more like a gimmick, and obviously, a proper evolution is more exciting. Those expecting to see an Eeveelution in the upcoming DLC will surely be disappointed as Pokemon will keep this trump card for the next games rather than giving it away to a DLC.
