Hollywood star? Yup, but more than that he is a gamer. I am talking about no other than Henry Cavill. The popular celebrity known for his roles as Superman and the Witcher is also a big gamer. This is not the first time we are exposed to his liking; Henry has been open about his interests in gaming. However, his latest words are a reaffirmation that indeed he is one of us.
Tough time for Cavill
This is not the best time for Henry. Those following the entertainment media must know that the actor is not returning as Clark Kent in the DCU. James Gunn is rebooting the franchise, and unfortunately, Henry is not selected for the job. Apparently, the franchise would feature a younger version of his character. But still, bad news for Henry fans as we will not see him returning as Clark Kent.
Secondly, the actor is also giving up on the role of Geralt of Rivia. This was a big shocker for me, if there is one person I know that could portray the role of Geralt, it has to be Cavill. Not just because of his acting, but his deep knowledge of The Witcher Universe. He is a bookworm and knows his stuff. It is said that he does not agree with the writer’s perspective on the show’s future. Probably, his deep Witcher knowledge is not making sense with the writer’s narrative.
Henry Cavill prefers gaming than going outside
A lot of bad stuff for Henry, but hey at least he knows the escape. In a recent interview with GQ, he said that gaming is his ultimate escape. Check his own words out:

Going outside must be a challenge for Cavill, but he knows the solution.
