After some months of waiting, fans of the Horror Genre are close to venturing through a new nightmare. As per Bloober Team, the new Layers of Fear will be launched on June 15 for the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game’s first demo is already available on Steam.

Layers Of Fear to Bring an All-New Experience with Unreal Engine 5

The Game has been developed on Unreal Engine 5, and is considered “the definitive horror experience”. It promises to break the barriers of the visual narrative. As per the Studio, the series reimagination will have support for Ray Tracing, HDR, and 4K resolution. The game will use the Lumen in its effects dynamic.

Layers Of Fear will bring all content from previous games (DLCs and Games) and will implement new gameplay mechanics. There will also be new resources and additional story chapters. Further, the Painter, Actor, and Writer, stories will be counted in an all-new form. It will use new technologies to improve the game’s discomfort feelings.

The Layers of Fears series basically put Bloober Team’s in the spotlight. With a physiologic horror and immersive first-person view, the game delivered to players an experience similar to what the unreleased P.T. Silent Hills never was capable of. The company also worked on The Blair Witch adaptation, and most recently, on The Medium. The studio is now developing the remake of Silent Hill 2 Remake. The game probably stands as the most important release for the Bloober Team. It will launch exclusively on the PS5.
