Nadji Jeter, the man behind Miles Morales in Insomniac Games, brought interesting information about the development of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. According to him, the title may feature co-op mechanics and will have symbiotes “everywhere”.
The chat took place on an episode of the SacAnime podcast. At first, the hosts asked the actor if there will be a two-player mode in the adventure (at 5:00 of the interview). Jeter was a bit reluctant and finally let out a “Yeah, I think they announced that”.
In addition, the game that will mark the debut of Venom in the new generation of consoles can bet on the symbiote as a big problem for the city. The plot of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will further develop Miles’ arc and bring mosome creative web-swing novelties (at 15:30).
So far, Insomniac Games has not confirmed the above information. As such, we treat all details in the interview as mere rumors.

In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Jim Ryan, executive director of SIE, said that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be a “very exciting” game. He believes in the potential of the franchise and sees the success of previous games as key to pushing Insomniac to do even more.
The first Spider-Man game from 2018 conquered millions of fans across the world and easily figures as one of the best-selling PlayStation IPs. The game received a spin-off in 2020 dubbed Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Now, the story will continue after the events of the 2018 and 2020 games. In case you’ve played the 2018 title, and saw the first trailers for Spider-Man 2, you already know that the plot will go around Venom. The most popular Spider’s enemy will finally appear in the game, but we are pretty sure that there is much more beyond it.
Sony will hold a PlayStation Showcase this week, and w expect more details to be disclosed at the event.
