Final Fantasy XVI: New Trailer Reveals An Impressive Boss Battle

We are nearing the launch of Final Fantasy XVI, and the marketing team is doing its best to keep the hype alive. The highly anticipated Final Fantasy XVI is nearing its release, being the sixteenth game in the legendary RPG series. Today, there is a new trailer to show more of the game’s action-driven combat system. In the latest trailer that comes from IGN, we can see the game’s protagonist, Clive Rosfield, fighting against a demanding boss called Liquid Flame.

The video brings us more details about Clive’s abilities in combat. In addition, we can also see his pet – Torgal – helping the fight. One of the interesting details in this trailer is the presence of Shiva, one of the series’ recurring summons (called Eikon in the game). In case you don’t know, the game’s plot will cycle in the Eikons and the individuals gifted with this power. We will start the adventures in the youth days of Clive, that has his fate determined by tragic events. These events will take the player on a revenge quest. According to the developers, the adventure will extend through Clive’s 20s and 30s.

Final Fantasy XVI will arrive for the PS5 on June 22 – and the demo seems to be close to its launch. The game is exclusive to PS5. In fact, it was planned for the PS4, but due to the hardware limitations, the game would take longer to arrive, so the idea was discarded.

Is there a PC version coming anytime soon?

Previously, Square-Enix didn’t comment on its plans for a PC port of Final Fantasy XVI. However, now, the company has finally confirmed a version for computers. However, it states that there is no rush for the port. With that in mind, we can expect it to arrive 1 year or 2 years after its launch on PS5.
