The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom is one of the greatest announcements of 2023 and the biggest release for the Switch. It’s easily one of the contenders for The Game Of The Year award at TGA 2023. If you own a Switch, this game is almost obligatory. Perhaps you didn’t buy it yet, and if that is the case, you’ll be glad to know the game is currently down to its cheapest-ever price on Walmart. The game is one of this year’s most important titles, so we don’t think the stocks will last for much long.

It quickly gained a spot among the best games for Switch, and one of the best Zelda games. While its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, focused on exploration, Tears of the Kingdom focuses on experimentation.

Link now has the ability to fuse together weapons, vehicles, and objects. Most of which are limited only by your own imagination. Don’t think the game leaves exploration behind. There is still a lot to explore: New Places, Shrines, Dungeons, and Much More! Link goes on another quest to save the kingdom, rescue Zelda, and defeat his long-time nemesis Ganondorf.
It’s not really needed to play Breath of the Wild to go for Tears. However, this will give you a better appreciation and understanding of the game’s lore. If you want the entire experience, it’s also possible to get some details from Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. However, be aware that this latter game is a little away from the curve with a Musou-like gaming experience. In terms of plot, it’s a prequel to the events seen in Breath of the Wild.
