Assassin’s Creed fans it’s time to rejoice as a strong hint has appeared suggesting Black Flag remake is on the way. For those unaware, a few months there were multiple reports that hinted Ubisoft is working on an AC: Black Flag remake game. Though, there is still no official confirmation. However, now an incident has happened that gives us a strong feeling that the expected remake is real.
The true AC fans must recognize the event when the Assassin’s Creed 3 was taken out from Steam. Shortly after, it was succeeded by a Remastered Version. Similarly, now the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag original title has been made unavailable on Steam. It is no longer available even in the bundled package that includes all AC flagship titles.
This is a big hint that Ubisoft will bring out the remake or remastered version of AC: Black Flag. We have seen this strategy with Rockstar too. The developer deleted the original GTA Trilogy games before the launch of the remastered version. This strategy helps make the hype for the game and also makes the new buyers wait for the better version.
Black Flag is the perfect title to get a remake
For now, there is no official wording on the remake. However, with the reports in the past, I will not be surprised. Black Flag is the sixth installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and is known as one of the best ones yet.
The developer seems to be quite active with the AC games lately. There is the flagship game Mirage incoming, a mobile game, and more. Hence, this is an interesting time to be alive for the fans of the stealth action franchise.
