There is pin-drop silence on any information regarding GTA 6. Fans are eagerly waiting for a new update from the developer. However, we only get silence in return. The leak and rumor mill keep our stomachs full of uncertain information about GTA 6. The latest one suggests that the game will be announced tomorrow on Sunday.
This Sunday is a special day for the GTA franchise as September marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of GTA V.
GTA 6 can be revealed on the anniversary of GTA 5
Now, our hopes are already high that this could be taken as an opportunity and GTA 6 can be announced. However, a new hint has spiked our hopes even higher. A video titled Dead Drop was posted by Zampella that also featured Shawn Fonteno, who is popular for being the voice actor for Franklin in GTA V. Zampella in this video can be seen holding a gun.
Moreover, he is also wearing a Hawaiian shirt, a hint of GTA: Vice City. Finally, the video also mentions the date of 17th September. This video was deleted later on. Perhaps, Rockstar ordered to take it down.
However, there is also a big chance it means nothing at all and is just for fun. Whatever the case is, we will be impatiently waiting on 17th September in the hope that we see something for GTA 6. Maybe not a trailer, but at least give us a teaser!
Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released sometime in 2025. The announcement trailer is expected to drop this year or in 2024. The game is likely to come for only the latest generation of consoles and PC. That said, make sure to stick around so you can get all the latest gaming updates!
