Insomniac Games just shared some exciting new stuff about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the game coming to PlayStation 5. They showed off a bigger map, cool new things you can do, and some awesome new costumes.

Bryan Intihar, Senior Creative Director of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, took us through a new trailer. This trailer gave us a detailed look at the game’s open world and featured famous locations such as Midtown High and Brooklyn Visions Academy. You can check it out below:

You’ll still be able to swing around Manhattan and Harlem in Spider-Man 2, but the game is getting even bigger by adding two more regions to explore in New York City.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 takes players beyond Manhattan and Harlem, introducing two additional regions to an expanded New York City map. While the iconic web-swinging system returns, a notable addition is the web-wings feature. It will allow players to glide through the cityscape.

This expanded mobility option promises to change the way players navigate the vast open world, offering an exciting and dynamic traversal experience. As players swing, soar and explore the game’s iconic locations such as Midtown High and Brooklyn Visions Academy, web-wings will add a new layer of excitement. It will ensure that Spider-Man 2 is not only bigger but more immersive and engaging for fans.

Insomniac Games has also released a new trailer for the Digital Deluxe Edition of Spider-Man 2. This version of the game features special unlockable costumes. If you pick up this edition, you’ll have access to 10 different Spider-Man costumes, five for Peter and five for Miles. You’ll also get the existing pre-order bonuses, which include two more unique suits (one for each character). The Web Grabber gadget and three skill points. There are also two extra Skill Points and some bonus Photo Mode options. It makes the Digital Deluxe Edition a great choice for fans looking for extra content and customisation.
